STOP the world . . . I want to get Off Road!
Hey and welcome to Off Road Magic!
What’s off road magic all about you wonder? Simple, this is a place for outdoor enthusiasts with a particular interest in getting out there in a good ol’ 4×4.
Here’s a quick Off Road Magic checklist that might help:
· You love spending time outdoors. In your 4×4 goes without saying . . .
· You love getting off the beaten track, preferably off the track altogether.
· You may not be Christopher Columbus, but you sure do enjoy a good adventure.
· You are always looking for ways to enhance your off road adventure experience.
· You enjoy sharing it all with others who have the same passion for outdoor, off road activities.
What will you find here at Off Road Magic?
Pull up a folding chair at our virtual Campfire, We’ll have a good ol’ “chinwag” about this n’ that and everything else. Check the categories list down the right side of the page to see what topics you can expect there. I will try to serve up content that is not only interesting, but useful too. Stories of past exploits, tips on basic vehicle maintenance and emergency repairs, camping gear, food – how best to pack it and prepare it, navigation, so many topics to cover!
Of course I value your input so please feel free to join in with comments, suggestions, advice or any other relevant contribution you may have. Also, look for the social media buttons throughout the site and I invite you to follow, like, link, add, tweet or otherwise connect. You can get to know a bit more about me and what’s behind Off Road Magic over here.
Oh, and up on the top right of the page you can sign up for the ORM Monthly Newsletter. You get a free guide when you do. You can also check out past issues of the newsletter over in the Archives.
But wait, there’s more!
I will be listing useful resources and you can do some shopping over at the Mall. If you have a particular topic or relevant issue you would like to see covered drop me a comment or contact me with a suggestion. I will do my best to accommodate you.
So, welcome, I look forward to getting to know you!
Before you leave a comment, please take note of a few simple housekeeping rules and guidelines. This is not the forum for heated debates about religion or politics or any other divisive topic. We all have strong opinions about various subjects and that’s okay. I am sure we will enjoy some “robust” discussions about the “best ever” off road vehicle or the best way to prepare steak “au poivre” over an open fire. (I have no idea what that is, I just googled it on the interwebs 🙂 . . .) However, let’s keep it on topic and the language clean. Show respect for your fellow Off Road Magicians, treat as you would be treated and let’s have fun.
